The Great Debate @ Influx

Friday, 17th of June, was just another day at work as all the Influxians were starting to sip their first cup of tea in the morning. All of a sudden, a message popped on the Team Influx group from none other than our HR asking us to assemble in Sunlight.

With that announcement, whoops of joy and other emotions were seen floating across the room. There were three important announcements made.

The last part of the meeting was one to remember. Mr. Balaji from business development was called on stage to share some of the interesting things happening across the globe at present. The sharing led to a debate started by our KD MD asking people if ‘Tamil Nadu should be a part of INDIA or a separate country?’ wasting no time people started arguing with each other. Initially, it was just between Santhosh and Nagarajan Manimaran as the debated heated up - a number of people joined.

Claps and whistles were heard all of sudden.

That’s when our Vaidy Sir gave an entry into the battleground to nail down his presence.

Boss was thrilled to see the level of engagement, analysis and passion that was demonstrated by the people. Clearly, there is much to be gained by allowing people to have a proactive voice in discussions.

Our event came to an end with a beautiful song sung by ‘Kamachi’, sorry -Sripriya

The song was recorded and sent through the Team Influx group and people started playing the song out loud.

Hope she gets to sing for ARR someday.

On a serious note, it was one fun filled hour.
